Bag ideas

In the picture above I have drawn out different ideas i have for my bags. Each drawing have different but similar messages. Both pictures are anti-fur, they both are suppose to shock fur lovers. The drawing on the right is very controversial . The message that this drawing is portraying is that i bet people wouldn't like seeing an animal in our skin. So why would we take animals skin and wear it?

 This drawing is also controversial. The message that this drawing is portraying why would you kill an innocent animal just for its fur?

The message that I am portraying on my bag is... ' Why use an animal just for it's fur?'  'Its animal cruelty' ' How would you like it if we was just used for our skin and threw away like we were just waste?'

Animal Cruelty and Fur Trade...

The board above is overall on animal cruelty and fur. These pictures inspired me too do a bag on animal cruelty and how much pain and suffering they go threw. I want to make people understand the harsh ways they are treated and that this shouldn't carry on.

This board is on animal cruelty and animal testing. This is showing what happens in society today. These pictures are meant to shock audiences, they want to show the horrid things that happen to animals. They want to persuade people to be vegetarians, anti-fur. Also to go against animal testing.

This board is based on anti-fur. Portraying the message would you like animals to wear our skin? Its targeting fur buyers to not buy real fur. Its trying to turn them against fur.

This is a board on Anti racism. The message they are portraying is that black and whites are equal, we are all the same inside, but just a bit different on the outside.

This is a board on against fur... The message they are portraying is that the animal is killed just for its fur and left to waste. They aren't treated fairly when being killed. They are tortured and slaughtered.

The is a board on global warming in the environment... The pictures above are saying' this is what are world will look like in years to come' but the people in the pictures aren't really paying attention to whats happening around them. Which reflects on society today, people don't have a care in the world. People will be faced with reality, these pictures our trying to make society realise.

This is a board on sexuality... The message they are portraying is 'don't hate' just because they like the same gender, they are no different from us.

This is a board on war.... the message they are portraying this is day to day life for a solider in the picture above. This girl is not getting any attention from the soldiers which is portraying that solider don't get any attention from their country. They have reversed roles, meaning that the soldiers are on phones and the girl is being ignored. Which is showing what society is like today.

Banksy Environmental Images

"I hate mondays" What we leave for the developing world...

Banksy created a gloomy looking picture which reflects on their life, showing us how hard their life's are. The little boy in the centre is wearing a T-shirt which says"I hate mondays" which is clearly not his t-shirt. The t-shirt looks like its been donated from a more affluent person. Banksy's message behind  this image is. You think your life's is hard , try living my life. He wanted to portray that are life's aren't as hard as their life's, so be grateful.

'The death boat' The grim reaper is steering this oil-filled vessel...

This is a picture of the grim reaper rowing the boat. I think this picture is to do with the global warming and drawing attention to the environment that people tend to ignore. Banksy's art piece is also to do with oil and how much we use; the spilling of the oil.

'I remember when all this was trees'

This image is showing a scrap yard which looks a mess. With a picture on the wall saying ' i remember when all this was trees'. Which is showing how society is today and us taking away nature, trees we need to breath. Banksy wants us to realise how much space we are wasting.

A false sense of protection.

This picture is showing a little girl holding a umbrella which she is using to protect herself. Although it isn't protecting her because its only raining inside.Which is portraying that the umbrella is human rights which human rights are giving her false hope of protection.

Fashion for a cause

Fashion for a cause is aimed at being positive; aiming to support all causes. Charities merging with artists and designers to raise awareness and funds to support charities.

Breast Cancer

 This picture is raising awareness of breast cancer. This picture is showing that everybody is the same and that there all here to help each other. 'No matter what skin colour, where here to help'.

Shock Advertising

Shock advertising which also can be called shockvertising is a form of advertising. It is used to make there pictures stand out and also to get a certain message across to there audience.

Sisley and Tom Ford both use shock advertising in there advertisements. They both want there brands to stand out more than their competitors. Both of the advertisements have a sexual meaning behind them.

This advertisement is against fur this is why they are using shockvertising. They wanted to show 'fur lovers' that the animal is still there, and that the animal is getting used just for there fur.

This picture is a negative image against anorexia. The message they are trying to tell is that you not a sketch, you don't need to look like one either. They are trying to say you don't need to be anorexic to be a model.

Teddy boys(Ted) are british subculture typified by young men wearing clothes that were partly inspired by Dandie in the edwardian period. The name Teddy was form when the daily express published a story with the headline "Teddy boys". Teddy boys were the first youth group in England to differentiate themselves as teenagers. Wealthy young men, especially guard officers, adopted the style  of the Edwardian era. Its associated with rock and roll. There style is smart but with a editorial tweak to it.  Hip hop formed in the 1970's in New york city.Hip hop is both music and a cultural developed in New York.There are fo ur elements in hip hop which are Rapping , Hip hop music, hip hop art and hip hop dance which are all part of the hip hop style. There style is swagger street style. They wear gold chains to show of there wealth.
